Just when you thought you had everything in the Deftones world figured out, you see something a little left of center. Norma Jean, christian metalcore princes, were recently joined by Chino of the Deftones in the studio to help work on their latest album. Normally things like this just kind of fade away and people pass it off as rumors or something, but here’s video evidence of Chino in the studio helping Norma Jean with their latest studio effort. Looks like someone’s got a soft spot for christian metalcore.

Norma Jean’s new album cover artwork is here, it prominently features the title Anti-Mother, and looks really gorey. Not half-bad for the guys that have made a living with stop, go, stop, go metalcore with a christian message.
