Proof again that I don’t know everything, this book came flying at me this day courtesy of Abort Magazine Online. This book in the series of 33 1/3 books tells the complete story of the epic Slayer Album that was released on Def Jam at a time when only Hip Hop albums were being pushed through.

I read a bunch of reviews online and they all say the same thing, it’s the best retelling of the whole story of the Slayer album.

Trivium has finished recording their next full-length album. The effort was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Danzig, Shadows Fall) and is currently being mixed. Roadrunner Records is looking to unleash this one on September 30th, but there is no name to the record yet. Hopefully it won’t sound like Metallica “light” as the last album sounded like. Trivium will hit some shows in Japan later this Summer, and most likely will have a full U.S. Tour to support the album.
