Zao’s album “Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest” is a classic example of metalcore innovation. At the time, 1998, no one really was playing innovative metalcore in the Christian music scene. The Clash has been gone for a long time, and few people that I personally know even heard The Mascalero’s stuff, but things are set to change very soon. Rolling Stone Magazine hasn’t been relevant to me in a long time. But they are getting some major press today, for dissing a new show that premiered recently on MTV. The show entitled, “FNMTV” is the brainchild of Pete Wentz, and apparently it completely bombed with critics.
