Tom Delonge of Blink 182 fame, recently talked about the Blink 182 break up, via the Angels and Airwaves documentary that just came out. Interesting stuff, and something that can hopefully just be laid to rest.

The Clash has been gone for a long time, and few people that I personally know even heard The Mascalero’s stuff, but things are set to change very soon. The release date for the Joe Strummer documentary is July 8, 2008. For those of you that missed it when it came out, you’re going to be in for a treat. Not since “About a Son” have music fans been treated to such a cool premise, the life and times of the Clash front man.
Here is the trailer for “The Future Is Unwritten”:

I previously stated that Bad Religion is trying too hard, and stand behind my word. Here’s a commercial for the upcoming deluxe edition of their last effort, and even though these guys are trying really hard to sell physical copies of their music, I must commend them…because a lot of bands just complain about low sales, but Bad Religion is putting their best foot forward. You decide, here’s a video:

If you’re a fan of punk and ska, you’re going to love this tour. Goldfinger is hitting the road with Less Than Jake, Big D and the Kids Table and Suburban Legends. The shows are going to rock so hard, and you can bring out the old rude boy suit and checkered vans and have a ball. This is as close as a full blown Ska tour as you’re going to get these days.

6/23 Baltimore, MD - Rams Head Live
6/25 Worcester, MA - The Palladium
6/26 New York, NY - Roseland Ballroom

Could we see a New Sex Pistols Record? Better yet, are the Sex Pistols even relevant anymore? They have been out of the limelight for a while, and the last time I saw Mr. Rotten, he was hosting a reality television show as a judge.
The last time I saw Steve Jones, he was in Los Angeles playing some horrible music on “Jonesy’s Jukebox”. But apparently things could in fact materialize, as Rotten said this recently:
“It’s a nice rumour [that the band will record another album] and it might possibly be true we are attempting to,” he said. “It’s like …

First the guys in Alkaline Trio align themselves with the corporate machine known as Zumiez, but that was somewhat forgivable considering the counter culture crowd that flocked to see the Lakai team rip it up at the mall. But this…this is very interesting to say the least.
Has Alkaline Trio Sold Out?
The above shoe you are looking at is the official Nike “Alkaline Trio” shoe. Any other company right? Nike doesn’t seem to represent what I would call “punk rock” etho’s of any vein. In fact, Nike is the number one hated company amongst the scene that I remember.
But maybe times …

Underoath has come a long way from playing small basement shows and playing pure death metal to a nearly mainstream crossover. They have a live album out now entitled, “Survive, Kaleidoscope” which is coupled with a live dvd filmed in stunning multi-angle format, and isn’t half bad. Now I’m not the biggest Undieoath…er…I mean Underoath fan, but these guys keep proving the naysayers wrong every single tour, and this is going to be no different.
For those of you itching for some insider knowledge, you can be happy at knowing that Underoath’s new album will be titled, “Lost in the …
